Science Revolution
The scientific revolution was all about discovering something
new in the science world. Nicolaus Copeinicus studied the planets for 25 years
and published his book in 1543. Galileo galilee built his own telescope. He
said Jupiter had 4 moons, that the sun had dark spots and that the earth was
uneven. He published two books about it. He had to sign a paper to take back
what he said. He died under house arrest in 1642. Later the Catholic Church
admitted he was right.
Issac Newton was a very important scientist because he
brought ever science method together and he said the earth was a giant cloth
that worked perfect. Is very important until this day. Newton law has three
motions.
Some of the scientific instruments invented were the
thermometer and a barometer. Than later they invented another scale for the
thermometer by Anders Celsius. The first microscope to be used was used by Zach
Arias in 1590 to observe bacteria.
Andreas Vesalius dissected human corpses and published a
book on the muscles and bones (the structure of human body). Later Jenner used
cowpox to prevent smallpox, he made a vaccine.
Robert Boyle was the father of chemistry. He made the Boyle
law. The law explains how volume, gas and tempter effect each other. He made philosophers
and scholars rethink about the long held beliefs they had about humans.
Francis Bacon came up with the Scientfic method. The scientific
help understand the natural world.
